Daily Update for AI Agent API Service
This is my daily update for my build and public log, and it's February 19th, 2025. This will be a short and sweet update.
Introduction to the Update
Daily update for my build and public log
Not too much to show today, but I'll give you a brief overview of what's been happening. Unfortunately, I wasn't feeling very well yesterday, and I'm still not feeling great today. Despite that, I'm pushing forward with my project.
Data Modeling for AI Agent API Service
Data modeling for the AI Agent API Service
Yesterday, I did a lot of work on getting all the data modeling done for the users, agents, runs, errors, and metrics. I also set up tables and some seed data, so everything is ready to go. Next, I want to connect Clerk and get a dashboard up and running.
Connecting Clerk and Launching the MVP
Connecting Clerk to the AI Agent API Service
I want to get the MVP out as soon as possible, so people can start using it and providing feedback. I want to know if this is something that people would use, and if it's something that's worth pursuing. The faster I know that, the faster I can get to a successful idea.
Future Plans and Metrics
Future plans for the AI Agent API Service
There's still a lot of work to be done, but I'm excited to get this project launched. I want to get metrics and user feedback, and then use that to improve the service. I have a roadmap for where I want to take this project, and I'm eager to get started.
Preparing for the Big Freelance Project
Preparing for the big freelance project
I'm not sure how much I'll get done today, as I'm still not feeling great. However, I did manage to do some work on preparing for the big freelance project that I'm starting tomorrow. I'm looking forward to diving into that project and making progress.
A Story About a Catastrophic System Failure
A story about a catastrophic system failure
I have a story to share with you about a time when a coworker of mine caused a catastrophic system failure. It was a big system that everyone worked on, and this person was trying to debug a feature in Python. They put a raw input statement in the code, which halted everything and waited for input to continue. Unfortunately, the system administrator had a terminal open somewhere, and when it hit the raw input statement, it stopped everything and waited for a response. The entire system came to a halt, and there was a big panic. It took the system administrator a while to figure out what was going on, but eventually, he nailed down the issue and sent an email to everyone explaining what had happened.
The Importance of Security
The importance of security
This experience taught me the importance of security and being careful when working with code. I've switched to self-hosting everything, which requires a lot of work, but it's worth it for the peace of mind. Security is a top priority, and it's something that I'm always thinking about.
Conclusion
That's all for today's update. I'll see you all tomorrow, and I hope to have more progress to share with you then. If you have any questions or comments, please let me know. I appreciate your feedback and support. Don't forget to like and comment on this video, as it helps the algorithm and allows me to create more content for you. Thanks for watching!
