Introduction to the New Year

Good morning, guys, and welcome back to my channel. It's officially 2025, and I'm excited to start this new year. I'm filming this video on January 1st, and I was literally thinking about this last night. Hearing 2025 sounds bizarre; it's both terrifying and exciting at the same time.

Goals for the New Year

This video is focusing on the exciting part of that. I'm going to show you guys all of the things that I plan on doing to start the year on the right foot. I'm personally one of those people that absolutely loves the start of a year - the beginning of a year, the beginning of a week, the beginning of a month. I just really, really love a fresh start, and it feels like the beginning of a new year is the ultimate fresh start.

Visualization and Organization

We're making vision boards, and we're going to deep clean. I'm going to organize, and I'm going to put away all of my Christmas decor. I also do this thing every year where I write a letter to myself, and I won't read it until the beginning of the next year. I'm starting with putting away all of my Christmas decor, so yeah, let's put away all of this decor.

A Visit to the Dollar Tree and Pressed Juicery

I'm going to the Dollar Tree to pick up everything I need for my vision board, and then I also went to Pressed Juicery. I ended up getting a few things, including a green juice with electrolytes and a beauty tonic juice. It's a hydrating blend of plant-forward ingredients to support the body's anti-inflammatory response, collagen production, and healthy skin barrier radiance.

Using Notion for Organization

Hey guys, so a big goal for me in 2025 is trying to stay as organized as I possibly can. An important part of trying to stay organized and on track with my goals is being able to visualize everything that I'm doing and that I'm trying to get done. Notion is a super easy-to-use platform that helps you turn your goals into your reality. You can manage pretty much every part of your life in one tool, and it's personalized to how you think, plan, and work best.

Customization and Aesthetics

One of my favorite things about Notion is the limitless customization. You can build a system on Notion that works for you and customize it to fit your needs. I'm very specific when it comes to my planners; I've literally had a million of them. Notion is great because I can make my workspace beautiful and actually fun to look at by using my favorite emojis, gifts, and images.

Tracking Progress and Setting Goals

Notion offers a ton of pre-made templates ready for you to use, and the one that I found is perfect for tracking my 2025 reads. I can easily look at the list of books that I've read and the ones that I want to read. I can also see what I thought of them, and I can add pictures to make it completely my own. Notion Faces allows you to create a custom portrait, and it's a fun way to personalize your workspace.
